Notes About Response to Intervention: Evaluation
To assess the effect of these workshops on RTI implementation in Tennessee schools and to help to improve future trainings, we are implementing two evaluation activities:
- The first is a survey that you can distribute and collect at the end of your workshops, the purpose of which is to provide you with information about how to improve your subsequent outings. A copy of the survey is available at the SIG Web site (http://sig.cls.utk.edu/default.htm) under the RTI Trainers link. Because the TN SIG would like to collect these surveys from you for grant reporting purposes, we will send you periodic emails specifying the address to which they can be delivered.
- The second evaluation activity requires you to enter data in an online database. The purpose of the database is to collect relevant information about the trainings that you have held for Tennessee school personnel since June 2007. You can access the database through the TN SIG Web site (http://sig.cls.utk.edu/default.htm), again under the RTI Trainers link. Information collected from this database will go directly to the TN SIG evaluator.
Your participation in the aforementioned evaluation activities is voluntary. The information collected from these evaluations will not only help to improve our trainings but will also provide justification for current (and therefore future) federal funding support. Please continue to use the Web site to access evaluation materials as well as new information about evaluation.
If you have any questions about the RTI evaluations, please email the TN SIG evaluator Chithra Perumal at cperu2@uky.edu
Thank you for your participation!
